Glutathione

Glutathione, a small molecule in your body, is made up from three amino acids - glycine, cysteine and glutamate. Glutathione is present in each and every cell, but it must be created from these acids. Glutathione is very important, to the immune system and it aids in the production of lymphocytes, which fight disease. In fact, Lymphocytes are frequently called the "brains" of the immune systems.

Glutathione is called the master antioxidant and without it, the antioxidants like vitamins E and C cannot function as effectively. Glutathione is found in most of our cells, because it's created there. It cannot be transported to the cells. Antioxidants can change free radicals which areunstable forms of oxygen. Glutathione is more than an highly effective antioxidant. It can also help our body repair itself after radiation treatment, infection, stress, injury, poor diet, and even burns and trauma. Essentially, it keeps our cells functioning as they should. It's a detoxifying agent, assisting the liver remove foreign chemicals and other pollutants. As well it helps control protein and DNA cell growth.

Anyone who is dealing with high blood pressure, cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s cataracts, and even men who are dealing with infertility issues may benefit from more glutathione. It can also help when recovering from chemotherapy and other radiation treatments.
